Keeping Children Safe in Education - September 2025

Child Protection

We recognise that being a parent is a very demanding role which can be stressful.  The school has various support mechanisms available should you require advice or just someone to chat to.

Our staff are trained to be vigilant for the signs of abuse and neglect and if spotted there is a clear procedure for reporting concerns to the relevant authorities.

Our school has to complete a return to the local authority stating that our child protection procedures are fit for purpose.

Health and Safety

The school takes its commitment to health and safety very seriously.  We take a sensible approach so that children can engage with activities that carry manageable risk, such as outdoor and adventurous activity.  As with child protection, the school submits a return to the local authority to state that our health and safety procedures are fit for purpose.
